The Chepauk Stadium erupted as MS Dhoni walked out to bat during the CSK vs MI IPL 2025 match on March 23. Ravichandran Ashwin, back with CSK, called the moment surreal. The noise was so overwhelming that the team briefly lost focus.
On his YouTube channel, Ashwin shared, “When Dhoni came out, the atmosphere was unreal. For the first time, I saw it from the CSK dressing room instead of outside.”
Rachin Ravindra’s unbeaten 65 off 45 balls sealed the win. Dhoni remained not out on 0, while Ruturaj Gaikwad’s 53 off 26 balls set the tone.
CSK now faces RCB on March 28 at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
