Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has been updated for the 2025 model year, adding several new features and making minor specification changes. The compact SUV now starts at ₹11.34 lakh (ex-showroom), a small bump from the earlier price of ₹11.14 lakh. Launched in 2022, the Hyryder competes with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
To enhance comfort, Toyota has introduced new features, especially in higher-spec variants. These include an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat and ventilated front seats. As a result, the SUV offers better convenience on long drives and during hot weather. Moreover, the company has added rear door sunshades, ambient lighting, and LED spot and reading lamps. Fast-charging Type-C USB ports (15W) for rear passengers are also part of the upgrade.
In addition, Toyota has improved safety and practicality. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is now available in more variants. Select trims also feature an in-cabin air quality display. Furthermore, the speedometer has been redesigned for better readability. Buyers can also choose from new dual-tone exterior color options in certain trims.

The petrol and CNG variants generate between 87 bhp and 102 bhp, with torque ranging from 121 Nm to 136.8 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
For the hybrid variant, the petrol engine is paired with an e-Drive transmission. It delivers 91 bhp and up to 141 Nm of torque. A major change in 2025 is the introduction of a 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT) in the AWD variant. This replaces the previous 5-speed manual gearbox, offering smoother performance.
